Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bernardo Matia got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 7 minutes, Dikdik Dik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fox Hunting Squad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dikdik Dik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Ayapaso's Gavino Cristos got control of the ball when Dikdik Dik tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ayapaso's Bernardo Matia in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fox Hunting Squad's goalie prevented a goal. 13 minutes into the match, Efrain Itzaina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guust Bauwens. Fox Hunting Squad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Efrain Itzaina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Venceslao in the 18th minute of play forced Fox Hunting Squad's goalkeeper Guust Bauwens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Fox Hunting Squad's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Bernat came free, but Guust Bauwens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guust Bauwens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Aritza, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 25th match minute, Fox Hunting Squad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johny Van Laeck to maneuver through the defense. Gavino Cristos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dikdik Dik in the 30th minute of the match. Dikdik Dik took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavino Cristos. Gavino Cristos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Ayapaso's Arturo Fiz got a free kick in the 32nd minute. When Artur Landewijck came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Fox Hunting Squad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Landewijck couldn't finish the play. Gavino Cristos came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Fox Hunting Squad's Dikdik Dik. But to his dismay, Dikdik Dik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Guust Bauwens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Matia in the 41st minute of play. If Bart-Jan Allaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 played minutes Fox Hunting Squad got a freekick which was hit by Kasper De Cat. Cesar Aritza took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guust Bauwens. Guust Bauwens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dikdik Dik to make the kick off. Gavino Cristos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dikdik Dik, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Ayapaso's Efrain Itzaina got a free kick in the 54th minute. Fox Hunting Squad were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Ayapaso's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Artur Landewijck took the corner. After 65 played minutes Ayapaso got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Aritza. Ricardo Venceslao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ayapaso booed when Fox Hunting Squad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johny Van Laeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 minutes of play, Ayapaso's Ricardo Venceslao made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guust Bauwens was left in no man's land by his defense there! 80 minutes into the game, Johny Van Laeck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Gavino Cristos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fox Hunting Squad were furious when Artur Landewijck was red carded, 87 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fox Hunting Squad! Johny Van Laeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gavino Cristos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fox Hunting Squad's Johny Van Laeck got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Ayapaso players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
