Evandro Lara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

SAN LORENZO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolás Anelka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evandro Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Marquês de Herval supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SAN LORENZO FC's performance. The match ended with a win for SAN LORENZO FC.
