Cristian Gau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Txindoki Ameda in the 2nd minute of the match. Chus Carreira took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristian Gau. Cristian Gau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Chus Carreira sped through Copérnico F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristian Gau. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chus Carreira in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Gau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Copérnico F.C.'s Cristian Gau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chus Carreira in the 14th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Checa Peñas during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Checa Peñas got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Cristian Gau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chus Carreira in the 27th minute of play. With a little luck, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Cresconio Carreño got control of the ball when Asopos Katsiavrias tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Deportivo ScrugenFC's Txindoki Ameda in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Copérnico F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Cristian Gau didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Deportivo ScrugenFC's Chus Carreira shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 37thth minute of the game Chus Carreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Copérnico F.C.'s Cristian Gau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Copérnico F.C. booed when Deportivo ScrugenFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orland Villadiego didn't get a good kick on the ball. Copérnico F.C.'s Cristian Gau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Checa Peñas in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baltasar Osorio to make the kick off. Cresconio Carreño came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Copérnico F.C.'s Siro Bela. But to his dismay, Siro Bela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Deportivo ScrugenFC made a substitution. Jacindo Trabado replaced Nel Tagle. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Copérnico F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Everardo Maruri was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo ScrugenFC's players had a chance to rest. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Checa Peñas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristian Gau in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Deportivo ScrugenFC's Chus Carreira in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Copérnico F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Chus Carreira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Cristian Gau skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 70th minute Baltasar Osorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cresconio Carreño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute of the match, Dolfo Rogel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cristian Gau was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hermengildo Cordeal's late challenge caught a Deportivo ScrugenFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermengildo Cordeal helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Deportivo ScrugenFC booed when Copérnico F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Cordeal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th match minute, Copérnico F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Cordeal to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Everardo Maruri from long distance, 84 minutes into the match, got Cristian Gau's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 88th minute, Victorino Mergildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, Bixintxo Hurtado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristian Gau. Copérnico F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bixintxo Hurtado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. In the 94th match minute, Deportivo ScrugenFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacindo Trabado to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Gau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bixintxo Hurtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
