Spectators: 7675 (Terracing: 5757, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Johannes Fernkvist got the match started through his kick off. Luis Alberto Lazcano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Tingelholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Stig Larsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Luis Alberto Lazcano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After taking down the ball on Club Deportes Santa Cruz's corner Norberto Oviedo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Daniel Hök quite easily take care of the ball. In the 21st minute, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Wilson Morales dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 24 minutes into the match, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Fernkvist came free, but Luis Alberto Lazcano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jaume Berecedo came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Club Deportes Santa Cruz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaume Berecedo couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Marín Rogers in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pajala Sunrise's David Lindman. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportes Santa Cruz's zone, Arne Tingelholm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Alberto Lazcano came out of the goal and Arne Tingelholm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Hök took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patxi Claude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Hök showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Gaymer, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The wind increased when Luis Gaymer made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Hök showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Morales in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Arne Tingelholm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pajala Sunrise fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Luis Alberto Lazcano made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Arne Tingelholm sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Pajala Sunrise's David Lindman got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Pajala Sunrise made a substitution. Börje Axelsson replaced Paul Wenerdahl. David Lindman kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Norberto Oviedo tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Luis Alberto Lazcano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Tingelholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Arne Tingelholm scored to the left of an out of position Luis Alberto Lazcano, making the score, 2-4. Daniel Hök showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaume Berecedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Pajala Sunrise's goalie and right to Wilson Morales. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Pajala Sunrise's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a little luck, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Luis Alberto Lazcano got control of the ball when Arne Tingelholm tried to sneak it across the goal line. Niaz Njoom hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Luis Gaymer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Hök having to interfere. After 95 minutes of play Pajala Sunrise's Niaz Njoom was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Club Deportes Santa Cruz booed when Pajala Sunrise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niaz Njoom didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Club Deportes Santa Cruz manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Pajala Sunrise to win.
