In the 3rdth minute of the game Osvaldo Peregrin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amputees FC's Dean Watts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Osvaldo Peregrin sped through Amputees FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dean Watts. In the 6th minute, Arne Gronow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute, Amputees FC's Art Kidman seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Art Kidman the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Amputees FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Art Kidman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 7 minutes into the game, one of Amputees FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Vanadio F.C. a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Flor Rial, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Amputees FC's Dean Watts. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Peregrin in the 12th minute of play forced Amputees FC's goalkeeper Dean Watts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Flor Rial got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dean Watts quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Arne Gronow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Etxeberri Benavides having to interfere. Arne Gronow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ed Mckinley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Etxeberri Benavides having to interfere. Dean Watts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvaldo Peregrin's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Osvaldo Peregrin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amputees FC's Dean Watts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldo Peregrin in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dean Watts saved Amputees FC from getting behind. Dean Watts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Peregrin, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 40th match minute, Amputees FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ed Mckinley to maneuver through the defense. Ishmael Rico hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Earle Franklin struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Etxeberri Benavides didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amputees FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Laing in the 48th minute of play forced Vanadio F.C.'s goalkeeper Etxeberri Benavides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Vanadio F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osvaldo Peregrin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Osvaldo Peregrin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amputees FC's Dean Watts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Etxeberri Benavides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Laing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Gronow in the 64th minute of play forced Vanadio F.C.'s goalkeeper Etxeberri Benavides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eladio Sotorrio kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Amputees FC's Ivan Kuskop got a free kick in the 66th minute. The supporters of Amputees FC booed when Vanadio F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eladio Sotorrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldo Peregrins short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Dean Watts to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flor Rial got free with Dean Watts in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th match minute, Vanadio F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Peregrin to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldo Peregrin hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Amputees FC's Ivan Kuskop sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Etxeberri Benavides narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Antecha might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dean Watts. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Antecha ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85thth minute of the game Arne Gronow who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vanadio F.C.'s Etxeberri Benavides was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dean Watts made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Osvaldo Peregrin sent off a good shot on target. Etxeberri Benavides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Gronow in the 91st minute of play. After taking down the ball on Amputees FC's corner Earle Franklin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Etxeberri Benavides quite easily take care of the ball. Amputees FC's Dean Watts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Amputees FC from getting a goal against them. Chants of Vanadio F.C. echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Amputees FC had held the ball for most of the match.
