Angua FC's Anastasio Iban proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Angua FC from getting a goal against them. Anastasio Iban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Goito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Angua FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jeremias Federigo hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes Angua FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Federigo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Goito got free with Anastasio Iban in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angua FC's Anastasio Iban proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Angua FC from getting a goal against them. Carmelo Jorrin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Urbasa in the 39th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, New Pi's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Maiorga came free, but Carmelo Jorrin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tobias Maiorga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carmelo Jorrin made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Timoteo Presebal sent off a good shot on target. Uriel Geleberto kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Ayala during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th minute, Ezequiel Roldan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uriel Geleberto lost his temper 71 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in New Pi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! 76 minutes into the match, New Pi's goalkeeper Carmelo Jorrin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Americo Perpinya. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeledon Urbasa in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carmelo Jorrin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Timoteo Presebal made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 81stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Carmelo Jorrin would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After 83 played minutes New Pi got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Ayala. After a rather tough play, Angua FC's Jeremias Federigo got a free kick in the 88th minute. 94 minutes into the match, New Pi's goalkeeper Carmelo Jorrin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeledon Urbasa. Primitivo Ayala kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Angua FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
