Jorge Valério made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Mathiassen in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to FRANK getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Roald Engebakken hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Stefan Mathiassen put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jorge Valério. In the 18th minute Reinaldo Calado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Valério showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magnus Auestad, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Jorge Valério showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Runar Selle in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 28thth minute of the game Magnus Auestad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ponte do Carro's Jorge Valério was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ponte do Carro's Jorge Valério played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Mathiassen in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Ponte do Carro's Reinaldo Calado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Moraes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FRANK's Hugo Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save FRANK from getting a goal against them. Ponte do Carro were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after FRANK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. António Guerra took the corner. If Trond Valla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Jorge Valério showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Mathiassen in the 52nd minute of the match. Runar Selle charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Runar Selle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd minute, Runar Selle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute, Magnus Auestad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FRANK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 58 minutes into the match, Magnus Auestad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Valério. Ponte do Carro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Magnus Auestad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Magnus Auestad got free with Jorge Valério in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute Trond Valla suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adelino Patrício during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adelino Patrício hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, FRANK's Stefan Mathiassen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Dionisio Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After 80 minutes Ponte do Carro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Magnus Auestad who took care of the corner kick. Hugo Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaldo Calado in the 81st minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Humberto Mascarenhas made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Moraes. FRANK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4.
