After 40 played minutes Colo-Colo got a freekick which was hit by Frank Lobos. Vicens Magofke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgar Grabski went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Lucjan Rudy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Lobos in the 45th minute of play.

In the 55th match minute, KP Karmel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolek Pieprz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucho Pérez in the 60th minute of play forced KP Karmel's goalkeeper Lucjan Rudy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 minutes of play, Colo-Colo's Manolito Neira made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucjan Rudy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Janusz Lech's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicens Magofke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucho Pérez in the 75th minute of play forced KP Karmel's goalkeeper Lucjan Rudy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Vicens Magofke throw himself and got hold of the ball when Filip Pusiak in the 78thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Colo-Colo's Joel Zuburu was substituted for Frank Lobos. KP Karmel's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Izydor Jaraczewski in the 81st minute. The corner ended in Izydor Jaraczewski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Colo-Colo's Vicens Magofke did a great save. 83 minutes into the game, Alexis Ardizzoni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2.
