The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Les Tigres:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atletico San Jacopino:s goal. The excitement rose when Atletico San Jacopino's Alessandro Federici after 5 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Les Tigres's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-1. In the 11th minute Eraldo Cicchinelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Rojas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Les Tigres's Clodoveo Rojas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Federici in the 14th minute of play. Alessandro Federici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Rojas having to interfere. Les Tigres's Jonathan Veronica got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute Alessandro Federici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Rojas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Moises Rojas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Les Tigres's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Rojas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabiano Daniele breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Les Tigres's Arturo Pirro got a free kick in the 34th minute. Alessandro Federici took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clodoveo Rojas. Clodoveo Rojas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jonathan Veronica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Eraldo Cicchinelli made the kick off in the second half. When Zeledon Lizbeth came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Les Tigres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeledon Lizbeth couldn't finish the play. Clodoveo Rojas made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Anselmo De Gregorio sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Les Tigres getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Celedonio Hermelando hit a great ball. A collision led to Atletico San Jacopino getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Fabiano Parisi hit a great ball. After 65 played minutes Les Tigres got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Hermelando. Anselmo De Gregorio kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes Atletico San Jacopino got a freekick which was hit by Nikola Milenković. 72 minutes into the match, Les Tigres's goalkeeper Clodoveo Rojas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franco Di Biagio. Zeledon Lizbeth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Daniele having to interfere. In the 84th minute Zeledon Lizbeth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Daniele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabiano Daniele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Lizbeth in the 85th minute of play. Clodoveo Rojas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Di Biagio in the 87th minute of play. Anselmo De Gregorio scored 0-3 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clodoveo Rojas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 94 minutes, Celedonio Hermelando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Les Tigres and the Atletico San Jacopino players grew even worse after the yellow card.
