In the 5th minute, Carlo Lusi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabiano Daniele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Refugio in the 8th minute of the match. When Alessandro Federici came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Atletico San Jacopino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessandro Federici couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Celestino Toro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabiano Daniele was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. When Gastres FC's Celestino Toro, in the 19th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Gastres FC. A collision led to Atletico San Jacopino getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Nikola Milenković hit a great ball. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico San Jacopino's goalkeeper Fabiano Daniele, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Nik Tjæder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natalio Refugio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabiano Daniele. Atletico San Jacopino's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Celso Eudoxio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nik Tjæder in the 36th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Atletico San Jacopino's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Toro came free, but Fabiano Daniele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 played minutes Atletico San Jacopino got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo De Gregorio. In the 45th minute of the match Natalio Refugio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabiano Daniele skillfully saved the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celestino Toro to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Gastres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Federici came free, but Celso Eudoxio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gastres FC's Celso Eudoxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nik Tjæder in the 56th minute of play. When Atletico San Jacopino's Nik Tjæder in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gastres FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gastres FC's Segundo Bortzaioriz was substituted for Natalio Refugio. Gastres FC's Nicolas Gonza was substituted for Modesto Sesuldo. Atletico San Jacopino made a substitution. Eraldo Cicchinelli replaced Franco Di Biagio. Alessandro Federici recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celso Eudoxio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo De Gregorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Toro in the 75th minute of play forced Atletico San Jacopino's goalkeeper Fabiano Daniele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celso Eudoxio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eraldo Cicchinelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Gastres FC booed when Atletico San Jacopino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo De Gregorio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alessandro Federici kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Eraldo Cicchinelli scored 2-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celso Eudoxio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alessandro Federici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Eudoxio having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Eraldo Cicchinelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celso Eudoxio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Jacinto Manni kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Atletico San Jacopino walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
