Raimundo Niva scored 2-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henning Helgeland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Celso Eudoxio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thor Gaarder in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute, Celestino Toro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute, Karsten Thorkildsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henning Helgeland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Niva in the 34th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, William Nordstrøm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kjønstad BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gastres FC the free kick. After having played for 52 minutes, Raimundo Niva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gastres FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Niva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A long shot from Karsten Thorkildsen in the 55th minute of play was well struck, but Celso Eudoxio made a really good save at the right post. If Thor Gaarder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 58 minutes, Reidar Nordhaug managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henning Helgeland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Refugio in the 65th minute of the match. Celso Eudoxio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reidar Nordhaug in the 73rd minute. Natalio Refugio scored 5-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henning Helgeland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gastres FC's Segundo Bortzaioriz was substituted for Natalio Refugio. Henning Helgeland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celestino Toro went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score.
