With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basilio Llanos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Barrialito AFC's Edgardo Inko got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barrialito AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Charley Cates was slow to take the kick. During this time Vancouver Reds's players had a chance to rest. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A collision led to Vancouver Reds getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jerrold Villeneuve hit a great ball. Manual Pratt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Leobardo in the 54th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Reuben Bunch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basilio Llanos was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Saturnino Leobardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Vancouver Reds's Manual Pratt got control of the ball when Osvaldo Oihan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Basilio Llanos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reuben Bunch in the 88th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Barrialito AFC's Dante Gudesteo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Barrialito AFC's Basilio Llanos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charley Cates in the 94th minute of play.
