The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eugeniusz Prus hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute, Júnior Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugeniusz Prus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Aloísio Arruda made a huge save. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Aloísio Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurand Smolak in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Fryderyk Ruszczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldão Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Bartlomiej Michalski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 minutes, Eugeniusz Prus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KS Ogórki and the Maxaranguape - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute KS Ogórki were awarded a corner. Roch Arbaszewski went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Roch Arbaszewski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aloísio Arruda quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jurand Smolak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aloísio Arruda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldão Vidal in the 28th minute of play forced KS Ogórki's goalkeeper Bartlomiej Michalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KS Ogórki's Fryderyk Ruszczyk got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 32 in the game by Eugeniusz Prus from a close distance when the talented Aloísio Arruda managed to make a qualified save. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's players were relieved. If Ronaldão Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 41 played minutes Maxaranguape - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Breckenfeld. Júnior Vergílio's late challenge caught a KS Ogórki's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Júnior Vergílio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Júnior Vergílio got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Eduardo Quadros to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Sandrinho Travassos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KS Ogórki the free kick. In the 51st match minute, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho Travassos to maneuver through the defense. If Fryderyk Ruszczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Prus in the 54th minute of play forced Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Aloísio Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Eugeniusz Prus put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Aloísio Arruda. Jurand Smolak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Eugeniusz Prus came free, but Aloísio Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sandrinho Travassos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. After 64 played minutes Maxaranguape - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Travassos. Aloísio Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugeniusz Prus in the 70th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Fryderyk Ruszczyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bartlomiej Michalski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Eduardo Quadros in the 76th minute. In the 76th minute, Marcin Brack hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jurand Smolak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Aloísio Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aloísio Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugeniusz Prus in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. KS Ogórki had played much better football throughout.
