He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Le Stade Briochin UC reached it. The supporters of Newcastle United F.C. booed when Le Stade Briochin UC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. With a little luck, Newcastle United F.C.'s Alfred Fredriksson got control of the ball when Gaël Rats tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Newcastle United F.C.'s zone, Jérôme Mure stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfred Fredriksson came out of the goal and Jérôme Mure tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, Tony Amadieu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alfred Fredriksson, 3-0. In the 47th minute, Le Stade Briochin UC's Tony Amadieu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alfred Fredriksson. Alfred Fredriksson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tony Amadieu to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Jocelyn Benito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tony Amadieu scored 5-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfred Fredriksson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfred Fredriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Amadieu, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 81st minute, Baptiste Demestre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfred Fredriksson was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Alfred Fredriksson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jérôme Mure went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. 88 minutes into the match, Le Stade Briochin UC's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Walmarsson came free, but Tord Waller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Tony Amadieu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Alfred Fredriksson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Newcastle United F.C.'s Alfred Fredriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Amadieu in the 93rd minute of play. Tony Amadieu took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfred Fredriksson. Alfred Fredriksson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Le Stade Briochin UC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Newcastle United F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
