The supporters of Lipa KS booed when Lobo Guará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurício Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcin Domarecki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Marcelo Gröhe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Barnaba Klucznik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafa Donatello kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The long shot by Radoslaw Kazanowski in the 12th minute really tested Marcelo Gröhe's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Lipa KS's Barnaba Klucznik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jael Jardel in the 20th minute of play. Marcelo Gröhe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karol Scislowicz in the 21st minute. Antoni Ziemba charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antoni Ziemba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Barnaba Klucznik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildo Porto in the 24th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karol Scislowicz got free with Marcelo Gröhe in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the match, Lipa KS's goal looked a bit too open when Jael Jardel came free, but Barnaba Klucznik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcin Domarecki made a kick off. A collision led to Lipa KS getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Gustaw Jazwiec hit a great ball. In the 54th minute Genílson Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barnaba Klucznik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Lobo Guará supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lobo Guará would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
