An unexpectedly hard shot by Stijn Klompe in the 12th minute of play forced ToCoTaN FC's goalkeeper Atilano Hechter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torstein Stenseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Torstein Stenseth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the match, ToCoTaN FC's goalkeeper Atilano Hechter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stijn Klompe. Torstein Stenseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Peli, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 27 minutes of play, ToCoTaN FC's Jesus Peli made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Torstein Stenseth was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, ToCoTaN FC's Zeledon Matthew got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 36th minute Timo Baars shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Hechter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Martien Krommert fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Dalwhinnie Boys's protests and gave Martien Krommert a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to The Dalwhinnie Boys getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Martien Krommert hit a great ball. After the first half ToCoTaN FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simon Chico to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Timo Baars shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Hechter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martien Krommert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Hechter having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jesus Peli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torstein Stenseth was relentless in the 59th minute of the game.
