In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Dalwhinnie Boys's goalkeeper Torstein Stenseth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Stijn Klompe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henry Örnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timo Baars in the 14th minute of play. FC Bors were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after The Dalwhinnie Boys's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joakim Vallgren took the corner. Otto Bekker kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Henry Örnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timo Baars in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, FC Bors's Joakim Vallgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torstein Stenseth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Kjell Engström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Magnus Sjöö's late challenge caught a The Dalwhinnie Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Magnus Sjöö helped the player get up and apologised. Joakim Vallgren scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torstein Stenseth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Stijn Klompe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joakim Vallgren to strike the kick off in the second half. Joakim Vallgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Torstein Stenseth made a huge save. In the 53rd minute, Otto Bekker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Vallgren in the 61st minute of play forced The Dalwhinnie Boys's goalkeeper Torstein Stenseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 played minutes The Dalwhinnie Boys got a freekick which was hit by Nathan Wehkamp. Torstein Stenseth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kjell Engström went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kjell Engström got free with Torstein Stenseth in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 69 minutes into the match, FC Bors's goal looked a bit too open when Timo Baars came free, but Henry Örnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urban Bäck charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urban Bäck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Bors getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Urban Bäck hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in The Dalwhinnie Boys's zone, Karl-Magnus Sjöö stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torstein Stenseth came out of the goal and Karl-Magnus Sjöö tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute, Erben Weggemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Stijn Klompe sped through FC Bors's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henry Örnberg. Henry Örnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stijn Klompe in the 93rd minute of the match. When Kjell Engström fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Bors's protests and gave Kjell Engström a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Bors getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Kjell Engström hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Stijn Klompe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Dalwhinnie Boys were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC Bors to leave the ground with a draw.
