Murilo de Senna hit a great ball. Greger Rudkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute of the match, Greger Rudkvist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Richard Luz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 25th minute, Daniel Västberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Rolandsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víktor Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Richard Luz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claes Bergdal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. In the 31st minute Joga Redondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Rolandsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Víktor Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Naldo Rodrigues ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Rolandsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 48th minute of the match, Greger Rudkvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Richard Luz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Greger Rudkvist made a kick off. The supporters of FC Blueskatterna booed when Edson Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mané Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Greger Rudkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Blueskatterna's Ivan Rolandsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joga Redondo in the 55th minute of play. The FC Blueskatterna fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when FC Blueskatterna's Greger Rudkvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Víktor Guerra hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute of the match Dan Ödman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richard Luz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute, Claes Bergdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Rolandsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joga Redondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Ivan Rolandsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víktor Guerra in the 84th minute of play. In the 94th minute Murilo de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Rolandsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Rolandsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murilo de Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edson Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luiz Fábio Pombal in the 97th minute. The corner led to Edson Futebol Clube's Víktor Guerra getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. FC Blueskatterna were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Edson Futebol Clube for a fine match.
