The New England Minas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mete Ferro in the 13th minute of play forced Guadalupe FC's goalkeeper Silvinho Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvinho Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Cabezon in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute New England Minas were awarded a corner. Jão Cabeleira went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 21st minute Ramón Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvinho Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mete Ferro in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Strong Onofre in the 24th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Segundo Gol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guadalupe FC's Silvinho Messias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Cabezon in the 27th minute of play. Silvinho Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cory Kirkland in the 29th minute of play. Segundo Gol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Carioca in the 31st minute of the match. New England Minas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramón Guerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Silvinho Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Cabezon in the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Strong Onofre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guadalupe FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New England Minas the free kick. Strong Onofre hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Cabezon in the 41st minute of play forced Guadalupe FC's goalkeeper Silvinho Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cory Kirkland in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvinho Messias prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Cabezon to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Dadá Ponta notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Guadalupe FC's Silvinho Messias. Silvinho Messias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Guadalupe FC defense, Cory Kirkland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvinho Messias. The Guadalupe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvinho Messias should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd minute, Chris Cabezon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Silvinho Messias. The goal made the score 2-4. Silvinho Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mete Ferro in the 67th minute of play. Jon Negron hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Silvinho Messias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cory Kirkland went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. In the 80th minute, Gustavo Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chris Cabezon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guadalupe FC's Silvinho Messias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Guadalupe FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Guadalupe FC's Silvinho Messias got control of the ball when Dadá Ponta tried to sneak it across the goal line.
