In the 3rd match minute, 100 Chance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Téo Veiga to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Ian Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. 100 Chance's supporters rose to their feet, but Ian Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Scottie Correa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of 100 Chance booed when Qikiqtarjuaq FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denver Grimes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute Michael Owen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wesley Cabral was the one to do the kick off. Téo Veiga took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Scottie Correa. Scottie Correa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Scottie Correa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Michael Owen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cássio Melo. That made the score 2-2 in the 56 minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, 100 Chance's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Stover came free, but Cássio Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stuart Schmitz during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cássio Melo came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Michael Owen. But to his dismay, Michael Owen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Cássio Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terrence Arthur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the game, Perivaldo Meireles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 100 Chance's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Qikiqtarjuaq FC the free kick. Perivaldo Meireles hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goal looked a bit too open when Osmar Pereira came free, but Scottie Correa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
