Håkan Söderberg was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Inácio Pádua capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Inácio Pádua really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Håkan Söderberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Håkan Söderberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basílio Caetano in the 7th minute. Gremio Viana's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nuno Durães in the 12th minute. With an all-out effort, Gremio Viana's Håkan Söderberg threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nicolau Soeiro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Gremio Viana getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Gusmão Azeredo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Gremio Viana's Inácio Pádua got a free kick in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Gremio Viana's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Lång came free, but Vicente Paixão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfons Fogel shot the penalty kick right outside the post. With a little luck, Lost Boys Sports Academy's Håkan Söderberg got control of the ball when Basílio Caetano tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Herbert Lång had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Lost Boys Sports Academy getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Nils-Åke Sjö hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Gremio Viana's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Lång came free, but Vicente Paixão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute of the match, Inácio Pádua got a very nice opportunity to score, but Håkan Söderberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Håkan Söderberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gusmão Azeredo in the 46th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herbert Lång in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Paixão prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Herbert Lång recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 54 minutes into the game, Patric Falk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lost Boys Sports Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gremio Viana the free kick. Håkan Söderberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Pádua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nuno Durães came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Gremio Viana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Durães couldn't finish the play. Håkan Söderberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basílio Caetano's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Alfons Fogel put in a rough tackle. Alfons Fogel kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Nuno Durães managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gremio Viana's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Durães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Håkan Söderberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Håkan Söderberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Caetano in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute Gremio Viana were awarded a corner. Nuno Durães went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Inácio Pádua drilling the ball in to score 3-0 behind Lost Boys Sports Academy's goalkeeper. Håkan Söderberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Pádua, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Håkan Söderberg came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gremio Viana's Inácio Pádua. But to his dismay, Inácio Pádua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Gremio Viana were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lost Boys Sports Academy for a fine match.
