The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Herbert Långs short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Alan Voller to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 10th match minute, Lost Boys Sports Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Stolpe to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berkeley Huther in the 13th minute of play forced Lost Boys Sports Academy's goalkeeper Håkan Söderberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Lost Boys Sports Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Berkeley Huther came free, but Håkan Söderberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Benjamin Bonison threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lost Boys Sports Academy's Sigvard Åström quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After having played for 15 minutes, Baldwin 舒 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elderslie Magpies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldwin 舒 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22ndth minute of the game Baldwin 舒 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lost Boys Sports Academy's Håkan Söderberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Dioskouroi Zahakis fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elderslie Magpies's protests and gave Dioskouroi Zahakis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Dioskouroi Zahakis hit a great ball. Nils-Åke Sjö received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Alan Voller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herbert Lång came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alan Voller could save by the left post. Jake Block hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Elderslie Magpies's Alan Voller got control of the ball when Herbert Lång tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Lost Boys Sports Academy's Herbert Lång sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alan Voller narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Lost Boys Sports Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Dioskouroi Zahakis came free, but Håkan Söderberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nils-Åke Sjö struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Alan Voller didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lost Boys Sports Academy. In the 45th match minute, Elderslie Magpies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jake Block to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nils-Åke Sjö to make the kick off. Herbert Lång fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Voller having to interfere. The supporters of Elderslie Magpies booed when Lost Boys Sports Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Håkan Söderberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldwin 舒, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 minutes of play, Elderslie Magpies's Baldwin 舒 made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Håkan Söderberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alan Voller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Lång in the 62nd minute of the match. After 62 played minutes Elderslie Magpies got a freekick which was hit by Dario Schultz. Herbert Lång took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alan Voller. Alan Voller dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Herbert Lång sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alan Voller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Lång, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Elderslie Magpies's Alan Voller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Lång in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Dioskouroi Zahakis hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Alfons Fogel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Elderslie Magpies's Alan Voller didn't even have to move. In the 80th match minute, Lost Boys Sports Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigvard Åström to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute of the match, Berkeley Huther got a very nice opportunity to score, but Håkan Söderberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Baldwin 舒 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Sigvard Åström fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lost Boys Sports Academy's protests and gave Sigvard Åström a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes Lost Boys Sports Academy got a freekick which was hit by Sigvard Åström. In the 89th minute of the match Jens-Åke Käcker sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alan Voller skillfully saved the ball. Lost Boys Sports Academy's Håkan Söderberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Lost Boys Sports Academy from getting a goal against them. Nils-Åke Sjö's late challenge caught a Elderslie Magpies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nils-Åke Sjö helped the player get up and apologised. The Lost Boys Sports Academy players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
