Jo Maerschalcx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herbert Lång went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of SK Dreigoten booed when Lost Boys Sports Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Stolpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 minutes, Helge Hedlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lost Boys Sports Academy and the SK Dreigoten players grew even worse after the yellow card. Helge Hedlund kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Lost Boys Sports Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Jacky Wauters came free, but Håkan Söderberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cornelis Meys's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Håkan Söderberg was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 30th minute Cornelis Meys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Söderberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augustijn van Hacht took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Håkan Söderberg. Emmanuel Van Laer struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Håkan Söderberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Dreigoten. Patric Falk hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When Jordi Focquier fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Dreigoten's protests and gave Jordi Focquier a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes SK Dreigoten got a freekick which was hit by Jordi Focquier. Lost Boys Sports Academy's Håkan Söderberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelis Meys in the 55th minute of play. When Cornelis Meys came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the SK Dreigoten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornelis Meys couldn't finish the play. After 57 played minutes Lost Boys Sports Academy got a freekick which was hit by Helge Hedlund. Alfons Fogel struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Jo Maerschalcx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lost Boys Sports Academy. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cornelis Meys in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Håkan Söderberg saved Lost Boys Sports Academy from getting behind. In the 70th minute, Sten Stolpe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Jacky Wauters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patric Falk during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lost Boys Sports Academy getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Patric Falk hit a great ball. Lost Boys Sports Academy's Håkan Söderberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelis Meys in the 76th minute of play. Håkan Söderberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmanuel Van Laer in the 81st minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Håkan Söderberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Håkan Söderberg didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 95th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. The Lost Boys Sports Academy fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SK Dreigoten were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
