An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvin Åkesson in the 26th minute of play forced 1984 Castelli Futbol's goalkeeper Patricio Chano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Grubb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Horado in the 34th minute of the match. A collision led to Robíño Football Club getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Edgar Stenman hit a great ball. Robíño Football Club's Valentin Grubb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Horado in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Robíño Football Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Enzo Ekain was slow to take the kick. During this time 1984 Castelli Futbol's players had a chance to rest. The corner led 1984 Castelli Futbol's Enzo Ekain to fire away a dangerous shot which Valentin Grubb despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hermengildo Etxeberri's late challenge caught a Robíño Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermengildo Etxeberri helped the player get up and apologised.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan-Olof Lange to make the kick off. A collision led to Robíño Football Club getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Orvar Lägdin hit a great ball. Hermengildo Etxeberri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Grubb having to interfere. In the 58th minute Enzo Ekain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Grubb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59thth minute of the game Enzo Ekain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Robíño Football Club's Valentin Grubb was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Maximiliano Ponce fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1984 Castelli Futbol's protests and gave Maximiliano Ponce a yellow card for diving instead. Maximiliano Ponce kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in 1984 Castelli Futbol's zone, Jan-Olof Lange stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Chano came out of the goal and Jan-Olof Lange tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valentin Grubb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1984 Castelli Futbol. The supporters of Robíño Football Club booed when 1984 Castelli Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Luzaide didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Olof Lange in the 73rd minute of play forced 1984 Castelli Futbol's goalkeeper Patricio Chano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermengildo Etxeberri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Valentin Grubb made a huge save. Valentin Grubb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Horado in the 76th minute of play. Valentin Grubb made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Hermengildo Etxeberri sent off a good shot on target. Eduardo Luzaide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Valentin Grubb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Oscar Mattsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Robíño Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1984 Castelli Futbol the free kick. After 84 played minutes Robíño Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Mattsson. After 87 played minutes, Robíño Football Club's Benjamin Winström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Patricio Chano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Robíño Football Club reached it. 89 minutes into the game, Eustacio Horado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valentin Grubb. Eustacio Horado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Cosme Sansone hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After 96 played minutes 1984 Castelli Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Mirande. Alvin Åkesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Chano having to interfere. The 1984 Castelli Futbol supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 1984 Castelli Futbol would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
