Gustavo Sauveur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blair Lusk went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. S.D. Bajen were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Errecaborda AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Blair Lusk took the corner. After taking down the ball on S.D. Bajen's corner Blair Lusk fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gustavo Sauveur quite easily take care of the ball. Luis Swain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Mambru, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 39 minutes, Blair Lusk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.D. Bajen and the Errecaborda AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Benigno Mambru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Errecaborda AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 46 minutes into the match, S.D. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Ralondo to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Mambru couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute, Woodrow Baggett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the S.D. Bajen defense, Lucio Faro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Swain. The S.D. Bajen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Swain should have stopped the shot. Bajen players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Errecaborda AFC.
