The ball had pretty good speed, but Hipolito Tono firmly grabbed it by the left post. LegionArgentina's Hipolito Tono proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save LegionArgentina from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Gwidon Gardocki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hipolito Tono was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Tolek Sidorowicz came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by LegionArgentina's Froilan Arnas. But to his dismay, Froilan Arnas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hipolito Tono made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gwidon Gardocki in the 18th minute. Hipolito Tono was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Sungur Civanbaht capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sungur Civanbaht really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If Arnaldo Gabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of LegionArgentina booed when Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Józef De Bruyne didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, LegionArgentina's Hipolito Tono got control of the ball when Gwidon Gardocki tried to sneak it across the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, LegionArgentina's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Gardocki came free, but Hipolito Tono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 47 in the game by Gwidon Gardocki from a close distance when the talented Hipolito Tono managed to make a qualified save. LegionArgentina's players were relieved. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gwidon Gardocki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Rigoberto Lucero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Gardocki in the 52nd minute of play forced LegionArgentina's goalkeeper Hipolito Tono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Generoso Gau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hipolito Tono stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gwidon Gardocki's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Hipolito Tono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Ziomkowski in the 64th minute of the match. Gwidon Gardocki took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hipolito Tono. Hipolito Tono dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 90thth minute of the game Gwidon Gardocki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LegionArgentina's Hipolito Tono was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hipolito Tono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwidon Gardocki in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the LegionArgentina players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy.
