Zé Carlos Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elia Liaci in the 3rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amerigo Melucci in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Carlos Britto saved Pragmáticos 1903 from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ettore Amadei in the 8th minute of play forced Pragmáticos 1903's goalkeeper Zé Carlos Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Pragmáticos 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Amerigo Melucci came free, but Zé Carlos Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Amerigo Melucci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zé Carlos Britto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Furlan came free, but Ettore Albertini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Pragmáticos 1903 getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Tadeu do Nascimento hit a great ball. Lunatics of Arianrhod were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Pragmáticos 1903's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ettore Amadei took the corner. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Ettore Amadei was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zé Carlos Britto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ettore Albertini had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping Luiz Eduardo Alves's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Amerigo Melucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos Britto having to interfere. Zé Carlos Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amerigo Melucci in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Pragmáticos 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Amerigo Melucci came free, but Zé Carlos Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Carlos Britto came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Lunatics of Arianrhod's Amerigo Melucci. But to his dismay, Amerigo Melucci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 42 played minutes Lunatics of Arianrhod got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo Melucci. 47 minutes into the match, Pragmáticos 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Amerigo Melucci came free, but Zé Carlos Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amerigo Melucci to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Elia Liaci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Carlos Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Lunatics of Arianrhod booed when Pragmáticos 1903 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tião Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amerigo Melucci who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Zé Carlos Britto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Amerigo Melucci took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Zé Carlos Britto to make any attempt to save it. In the 75th match minute, Pragmáticos 1903 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeu do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Elia Liaci made a precise shot to the right of Zé Carlos Britto. Pragmáticos 1903's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 79th match minute, Lunatics of Arianrhod was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ettore Amadei to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Eduardo Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 87th minute, Elia Liaci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerigo Melucci in the 92nd minute of play forced Pragmáticos 1903's goalkeeper Zé Carlos Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
