When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Sam Yang sped through Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nahuel Losada. 12 minutes into the match, Samyang Ramen's goalkeeper Eg Nudel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teo Ospetsu. Starkaður Smakaev hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Eg Nudel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Ospetsu in the 19th minute of play. During this time Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's players had a chance to rest. 44 minutes into the match, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Teo Ospetsu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eg Nudel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sam Yang was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Samyang Ramen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Brenner to maneuver through the defense. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixto Claris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eg Nudel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute Teo Ospetsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eg Nudel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
