Kamarudin Simatupang started the match with the kick off. Hoàng Nghiêm-Minh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamarudin Simatupang in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Dalin's Huỳnh Viet got a free kick in the 19th minute. Wawa Wiryawan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trần Tinh in the 21st minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Liễu Anh Hung put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Dalin fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! Hoàng Nghiêm-Minh had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Thomas Prastika's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 24 minutes of play, Barricade Of Mighty Beast's Thomas Prastika made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hoàng Nghiêm-Minh was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 30 played minutes FC Dalin got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Teo. Nguyễn Phuc charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Phuc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 33 played minutes FC Dalin got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Phuc. Thomas Prastika, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. FC Dalin's Hoàng Nghiêm-Minh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamarudin Simatupang in the 39th minute of play. When Kamarudin Simatupang came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Barricade Of Mighty Beast fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kamarudin Simatupang couldn't finish the play. After 48 minutes, Nguyễn Teo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Dalin and the Barricade Of Mighty Beast players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nguyễn Teo hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

52 minutes into the game, Topan Sujatmiko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barricade Of Mighty Beast's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Dalin the free kick. A collision led to Barricade Of Mighty Beast getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Topan Sujatmiko hit a great ball. Wawa Wiryawan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phạm Thanh Bình, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Ali Risnandar's late challenge caught a FC Dalin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Risnandar helped the player get up and apologised. Ali Risnandar kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Dalin getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Huỳnh Viet hit a great ball. Hoàng Nghiêm-Minh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamal Faturrahman in the 69th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Thomas Prastika got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hoàng Nghiêm-Minh quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After taking down the ball on FC Dalin's corner Phạm Thanh Bình fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wawa Wiryawan quite easily take care of the ball. Wawa Wiryawan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phạm Thanh Bình, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Ali Risnandar hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 87th match minute, Barricade Of Mighty Beast was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamal Faturrahman to maneuver through the defense. Robbie Wahono kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Phạm Thanh Bình had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wawa Wiryawan. Barricade Of Mighty Beast's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Phạm Thanh Bình was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
