The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hermosilla Concha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Hoàng Nghiêm-Minh made a huge save. In the 11th minute, one of River Plate ® 9-12:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for River Plate ® 9-12. Hoàng Nghiêm-Minh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rollin Stones, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Trần Ritchell put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Amadeo Carrizo. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of FC Dalin:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of River Plate ® 9-12:s goal. When the match had been going on for 31 minutes, River Plate ® 9-12's Rollin Stones got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hoàng Nghiêm-Minh. In the 36th minute, Trần Ritchell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Dalin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. When Txanton Sagastia fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Dalin's protests and gave Txanton Sagastia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, one of FC Dalin:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Dalin. 41 minutes into the match, Rollin Stones notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of FC Dalin's Hoàng Nghiêm-Minh. Hoàng Nghiêm-Minh was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 45 played minutes FC Dalin got a freekick which was hit by Phạm Thanh Bình. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rollin Stones made a kick off. If Telmo Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A well done corner resulted in Rollin Stones drilling the ball in to score 4-2 behind FC Dalin's goalkeeper. Amadeo Carrizo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trần Ritchell in the 71st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Trần Ritchell in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeo Carrizo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Phạm Thanh Bình hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, River Plate ® 9-12's Dexter Morgan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hoàng Nghiêm-Minh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nguyễn Phuc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Carrizo having to interfere. In the 80th minute Trần Tinh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Carrizo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Trần Ritchell took a quick shot and it went in 4-3 without a chance for Amadeo Carrizo to make any attempt to save it. Amadeo Carrizo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Phạm Thanh Bình went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-5 was the resulting score.
