After 6 minutes of play, Pan FC's Ildefonso Marcones made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evelio Vaquero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ferrando Husarte made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Pan FC's Fabian Quinteros. The supporters of Libertadores Fútbol Club booed when Pan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando De la Peña didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evelio Vaquero made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Ildefonso Marcones sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute, Ildefonso Marcones made a precise shot to the right of Evelio Vaquero. Libertadores Fútbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 21stth minute of the game Ildefonso Marcones who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Libertadores Fútbol Club's Evelio Vaquero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Libertadores Fútbol Club's zone, Ildefonso Marcones stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evelio Vaquero came out of the goal and Ildefonso Marcones tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Libertadores Fútbol Club's Evelio Vaquero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Marcones in the 30th minute of play. Pan FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arnaldo Cedro in the 32nd minute. Errolan Hudobro's late challenge caught a Pan FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Errolan Hudobro helped the player get up and apologised. Errolan Hudobro kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Ildefonso Marcones's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evelio Vaquero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adolfo Guerau to strike the kick off in the second half. Pan FC's Jean-Pierre De la Cuadra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Tronconi in the 56th minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Pan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Esquipula to maneuver through the defense. Jean-Pierre De la Cuadra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Errolan Hudobro, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 80th match minute, Libertadores Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivon Notes to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Adolfo Guerau made a precise shot to the right of Evelio Vaquero. Libertadores Fútbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Jean-Pierre De la Cuadra was a little too slow when Ospin Carmona got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 5-1. Ospin Carmona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Pierre De la Cuadra having to interfere. Libertadores Fútbol Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
