The supporters of Sheriff booed when FC Rudzianka Szczecin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apostolis Kaliasis was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Janusz Komanski during the 41st minute. Sheriff's Argyris Kalaitzidis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kacper Walczyk in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dariusz Bronicki's late challenge caught a Sheriff's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dariusz Bronicki helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes FC Rudzianka Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Dariusz Bronicki. After the first half FC Rudzianka Szczecin were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaroslaw Glowacki made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Sheriff's goalkeeper Apostolis Kaliasis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damazy Praski. 54 minutes into the match, Sheriff's goal looked a bit too open when Jaroslaw Glowacki came free, but Apostolis Kaliasis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kacper Walczyk came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Sheriff's Minas Bissias. But to his dismay, Minas Bissias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omiros Kaloumenos in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kacper Walczyk saved FC Rudzianka Szczecin from getting behind. Kacper Walczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Kapopoulos in the 74th minute of the match. FC Rudzianka Szczecin's Kacper Walczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Minas Bissias in the 76th minute of play. After 85 played minutes Sheriff got a freekick which was hit by Filippos Lazakis. After 87 played minutes FC Rudzianka Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Radoslaw Chrzan. Jaroslaw Glowacki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Apostolis Kaliasis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 95th minute, Damazy Praski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Apostolis Kaliasis. The goal made the score 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Rudzianka Szczecin had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
