Átomo F.C.'s Dorival Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Dinamite in the 4th minute of play. With a little luck, Suprs Academia's Miguel Prod'Homme got control of the ball when Ronald Mc Donald tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Átomo F.C.'s Ronald Mc Donald in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertinho Bertassi in the 27th minute of play forced Suprs Academia's goalkeeper Miguel Prod'Homme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Albertinho Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Prod'Homme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Ronald Mc Donald made a precise shot to the right of Miguel Prod'Homme. Suprs Academia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Dorival Travassos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vítor Freitas's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Douglas Douglas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Miguel Prod'Homme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gonsalvo Ramos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miguel Prod'Homme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertinho Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 53 played minutes Átomo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Didi Rossi. In the 56th minute Albertinho Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Prod'Homme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Robert Dinamite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Dinamite hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Suprs Academia's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Mc Donald came free, but Miguel Prod'Homme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 played minutes Átomo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Didi Rossi. A collision led to Suprs Academia getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Gonsalvo Ramos hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiaguinho Figueiredo in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Prod'Homme saved Suprs Academia from getting behind. In the 86th minute of the match Átomo F.C. got a corner. Suprs Academia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ronald Mc Donald ran over to the corner to take the kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Suprs Academia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Átomo F.C..
