Átomo F.C.'s Dorival Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Tello in the 17th minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, Cavallino Rampante II's Haroldo Caradaro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorival Travassos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silvio Ortzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Mc Donald, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. A collision led to Átomo F.C. getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Tostão Bastos hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Haroldo Caradaro was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xande Xande in the 54th minute of play forced Cavallino Rampante II's goalkeeper Silvio Ortzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Tello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dorival Travassos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Abelardo Tello took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorival Travassos. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cavallino Rampante II would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
