CAN ERZURUM's Tuncer Polathan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radul Tishev in the 23rd minute of play. Rodolfo Caldas's late challenge caught a CAN ERZURUM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodolfo Caldas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of CAN ERZURUM booed when CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Caldas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Caldas came free, but Tuncer Polathan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. King Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauri Icardi, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Paulo Duarte was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. King Duarte had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Atay Neba's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. King Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauri Icardi in the 37th minute of play. After 38 minutes CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Atay Neba who took care of the corner kick. The corner led CAN ERZURUM's Atay Neba to fire away a dangerous shot which King Duarte despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. King Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauri Icardi in the 40th minute of the match. Emanuel Miguéis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Pascoal Alvarenga hit a great ball. King Duarte acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 47th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Atay Neba.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Don Duarte was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Miguéis in the 53rd minute of play forced CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Tuncer Polathan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 played minutes, CAN ERZURUM's Atay Neba shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper King Duarte came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CAN ERZURUM reached it. After a rather tough play, CAN ERZURUM's Ali Baran İkbal got a free kick in the 65th minute. Don Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuncer Polathan having to interfere. Tuncer Polathan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Miguéis, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 80th match minute, CAN ERZURUM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hakkı Deniz Yerlikaya to maneuver through the defense. Radul Tishev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tuncer Polathan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land got a corner. CAN ERZURUM's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rambo Duarte ran over to the corner to take the kick.
