Opah Gol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xande Xande, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Átomo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Almada came free, but Dorival Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milton Umaña got free with Dorival Travassos in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Doni Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Dorival Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan José Ferraro, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Juan José Ferraro hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Dorival Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan José Ferraro in the 33rd minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Átomo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Doni Donato. Dorival Travassos came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by GuateFortín's Juan José Ferraro. But to his dismay, Juan José Ferraro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 46th match minute, Átomo F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doni Donato to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronald Mc Donald to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Juan José Ferraro. Ronald Mc Donald blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Opah Gol having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan José Ferraro in the 56th minute of play forced Átomo F.C.'s goalkeeper Dorival Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Juan José Ferraro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dorival Travassos was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Juan José Ferraro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dorival Travassos having to make a save. Thiago Almada kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Xande Xande in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Opah Gol, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 65th minute Ronald Mc Donald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Opah Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Didi Rossi during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Átomo F.C. made a substitution. GuateFortín's Opah Gol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Mc Donald in the 75th minute of play. With 79 minutes on the clock, Luiz Fernando Cerezo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Luiz Fernando Cerezo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. GuateFortín's Abraham Santamaria was substituted for Eliseo Umanzor. After a rather tough play, Átomo F.C.'s Luiz Fernando Cerezo got a free kick in the 81st minute. If Juan José Ferraro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute.
