After having played for 3 minutes, Abelardo Tello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cavallino Rampante II's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Tello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Opah Gol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Tello in the 8th minute of the match. Opah Gol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Tello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GuateFortín's Opah Gol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Estebano in the 19th minute of play. Baltazar Fornos kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 22 minutes, David Ruiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GuateFortín and the Cavallino Rampante II players grew even worse after the yellow card. Haroldo Caradaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Opah Gol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Cavallino Rampante II booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dirk Behrens didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Victor Sotomayor. In the 32nd minute, Modesto Acevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cavallino Rampante II's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Victor Sotomayor was slow to take the kick. During this time GuateFortín's players had a chance to rest. Clemente Columbo's late challenge caught a GuateFortín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemente Columbo helped the player get up and apologised. Clemente Columbo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Abelardo Tello notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of GuateFortín's Opah Gol. Opah Gol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

54 minutes into the game, Baltazar Fornos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GuateFortín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cavallino Rampante II the free kick. After 55 played minutes, Cavallino Rampante II's Lisandro Illart shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Opah Gol came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cavallino Rampante II reached it. GuateFortín's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Jairo Izotz scored to the left of an out of position Opah Gol, making the score, 0-2. 65 minutes into the match, Cavallino Rampante II's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Almada came free, but Silvio Ortzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Cavallino Rampante II was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Estebano to maneuver through the defense. GuateFortín made a substitution. Eugenio Silban hit a great ball. Cavallino Rampante II's Luisito Koldo was substituted for Jairo Izotz. GuateFortín made a substitution. Abraham Santamaria replaced Baltazar Fornos. Cavallino Rampante II made a substitution. Walter Erviti replaced Guaberto Estebano. Eugenio Silban kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. If Juan José Ferraro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan José Ferraro took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvio Ortzi. Silvio Ortzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Julio Asad kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Cavallino Rampante II's Silvio Ortzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan José Ferraro in the 89th minute of play. When Luisito Koldo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Cavallino Rampante II fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisito Koldo couldn't finish the play.
