Dalmacio Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hug Llinás in the 12th minute of play. With a little luck, Anjullan AFC's Dalmacio Paublo got control of the ball when Hug Llinás tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Luis-Javier Durango fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red Hawk Football Club's protests and gave Luis-Javier Durango a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Anjullan AFC booed when Red Hawk Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis-Javier Durango didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Feliciano Iratxo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anjullan AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Hawk Football Club the free kick. Luis-Javier Durango sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute of the match, Luis-Javier Durango got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dalmacio Paublo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Natxo Calatayud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Costante in the 46th minute of play. Feliciano Iratxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Hug Llinás made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Red Hawk Football Club booed when Anjullan AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Froila didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jacobo Froila came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Anjullan AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobo Froila couldn't finish the play. Dalmacio Paublo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleix Puigdellivol, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute Matias Aurken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natxo Calatayud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Benat in the 85th minute of play forced Red Hawk Football Club's goalkeeper Natxo Calatayud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Amancio Benat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Red Hawk Football Club's Natxo Calatayud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Benat in the 88th minute of play. Dalmacio Paublo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis-Javier Durango, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmacio Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis-Javier Durango in the 92nd minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Red Hawk Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Aurken came free, but Natxo Calatayud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Anjullan AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
