An unexpectedly hard shot by David Berger in the 29th minute of play forced Zorros del Desierto's goalkeeper Hugo Araya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 minutes of play, Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Nuno Linhares made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Araya was left in no man's land by his defense there! Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Hugo Araya successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Adalberto Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermín Montes in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aldair Code stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hugo Araya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Chiquito Escalante dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adalberto Tróia, 1-1. Zorros del Desierto made a substitution. Noé Saso replaced Fermín Montes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquito Escalante in the 67th minute of play forced Club Sacode Football CIMZ's goalkeeper Adalberto Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Insaurralde kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adalberto Tróia. That made the score 1-2 in the 72 minute of play. In the 78th minute Jeremias Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Araya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Chiquito Escalante lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Adalberto Tróia. Adalberto Tróia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chiquito Escalante's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 87th minute Aldair Code shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Araya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
