After a rather tough play, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Agustin Irrintzi got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 14 played minutes Cable a Tierra got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Luke. In the 15th minute, Herminio Orlanda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan in the 18th minute of play forced Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Armando Unax to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan got free with Armando Unax in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Amato in the 20th minute of play forced Cable a Tierra's goalkeeper Leonides Telesforo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauricio Amato's late challenge caught a Cable a Tierra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauricio Amato helped the player get up and apologised. Cable a Tierra's Eloy Leguizamón managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Agustin Irrintzi in the 25 minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Los Hijos de Doña Beija's zone, Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Unax came out of the goal and Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Armando Unax, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes into the game, Mauricio Amato threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cable a Tierra's Saverio Mercurio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in Cable a Tierra's zone, Agustin Irrintzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Telesforo came out of the goal and Agustin Irrintzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Agustin Irrintzi charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agustin Irrintzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romulo Lluc to make the kick off. Cable a Tierra's Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Amancio Luke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Claudio Echeverri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Unax was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Armando Unax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan in the 66th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Los Hijos de Doña Beija was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dale Cabezon to maneuver through the defense. Dale Cabezon kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Armando Unax showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Echeverri in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute Claudio Echeverri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Unax saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan spun around in front of the goal 75 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goal. If Luciano Urtungo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Unax saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Echeverri scored 2-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Unax, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the game, Eloy Leguizamón was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cable a Tierra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Hijos de Doña Beija the free kick. Mauricio Amato's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonides Telesforo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los Hijos de Doña Beija players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cable a Tierra.
