After a rather tough play, Fauna Utd's Ive Beckers got a free kick in the 5th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Ive Beckers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Waldemar Robak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Van Clijnebreugel in the 13th minute of play forced KKS Magines's goalkeeper Waldemar Robak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Witold Chodzinski took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Frederick Van Gorp to make any attempt to save it. In the 24th minute, Witold Chodzinski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KKS Magines fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Bernard Vanden Bussche hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Laurent Camus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ive Beckers in the 34th minute of play forced KKS Magines's goalkeeper Waldemar Robak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Van Clijnebreugel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Laurent Camus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fauna Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KKS Magines the free kick. After 37 played minutes Fauna Utd got a freekick which was hit by Laurent Camus. Waldemar Robak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel Van Clijnebreugel went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. When KKS Magines's Beniamin Zywiec in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fauna Utd's goalie prevented a goal. When Korneliusz Skikiewicz fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KKS Magines's protests and gave Korneliusz Skikiewicz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Fauna Utd booed when KKS Magines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korneliusz Skikiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frederick Van Gorp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grzegorz Michnik in the 45th minute of play. KKS Magines's Waldemar Robak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Van Clijnebreugel in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abel Van Clijnebreugel was the one to do the kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of KKS Magines:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fauna Utd:s goal. 55 minutes into the match, KKS Magines's goalkeeper Waldemar Robak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lieven Huybrechts. Frederick Van Gorp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobiasz Zbytniewski in the 58th minute of play. When Fauna Utd's Abel Van Clijnebreugel in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KKS Magines's goalie prevented a goal. Fauna Utd were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after KKS Magines's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lex Van Eycke took the corner. In the 67thth minute of the game Grzegorz Michnik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fauna Utd's Frederick Van Gorp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Fauna Utd booed when KKS Magines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tytus Chazon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Tobiasz Zbytniewski came free, but Frederick Van Gorp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, KKS Magines's Sylwester Malewicz got a free kick in the 84th minute. KKS Magines's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Ive Beckers scored to the left of an out of position Waldemar Robak, making the score, 2-3. After 91 played minutes Fauna Utd got a freekick which was hit by Wout Rosbach. Abel Van Clijnebreugel struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Waldemar Robak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fauna Utd.
