After 4 minutes of play, Motala AIF's Marcin Cebula made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Efe Akşit was left in no man's land by his defense there! Osman Gulson made in the 8th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rahman Kabadayı. In the 11th minute, Abu Sap got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adriano Tolin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abu Sap, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascal Trefzer got free with Efe Akşit in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th match minute, Motala AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Lope to maneuver through the defense. Marcin Cebula kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Efe Akşit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Cebula, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kartal Cangur during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kartal Cangur hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Wilfred Zaha charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilfred Zaha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Motala AIF booed when 1930 Bafraspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfred Zaha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Efe Akşit stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sam Banzer's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. A collision led to 1930 Bafraspor getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Haldun Şömel hit a great ball. 1930 Bafraspor's Efe Akşit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Skarkman in the 79th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Tony Skarkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efe Akşit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Motala AIF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of 1930 Bafraspor for a fine match.
