After some careless play in the Medoacus Maior defense, Marcin Cebula kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jiang Hong Xiang. The Medoacus Maior fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jiang Hong Xiang should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Medoacus Maior's Adriano Tolin threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arturo Grassi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amos Cipollone in the 8th minute of play forced Motala AIF's goalkeeper Adriano Tolin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcin Cebula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jiang Hong Xiang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 15 minutes, Sam Banzer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Motala AIF and the Medoacus Maior players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Motala AIF getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Sam Banzer hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Medoacus Maior's Adriano Tolin threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amos Cipollone, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 27th minute of the match, Amos Cipollone tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adriano Tolin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marcin Cebula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jiang Hong Xiang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcin Cebula in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Pascal Trefzer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Motala AIF's Marcin Cebula sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jiang Hong Xiang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antonello Palumbo made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Motala AIF's Sam Banzer. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damiano Tolin to strike the kick off in the second half. Jiang Hong Xiang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcin Cebula in the 59th minute of play. When Damiano Tolin came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Medoacus Maior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damiano Tolin couldn't finish the play. Motala AIF's Adriano Tolin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Grassi in the 88th minute of play. Jiang Hong Xiang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcin Cebula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jiang Hong Xiang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Cebula, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 95th minute, Damiano Tolin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adriano Tolin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3.
