Per-Oskar Nordstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Doykin having to interfere. Ennio Fallito's late challenge caught a CE LAJEADENSE RS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ennio Fallito helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th minute, Ennio Fallito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eurico Peixoto got free with Adam Doykin in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Saad in the 12th minute of play forced Ibis Football Club's goalkeeper Pedro Rosado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 minutes Ibis Football Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Caetano Saad who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of CE LAJEADENSE RS booed when Ibis Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arotza Suarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Jorge Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Rosado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eurico Peixoto struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Adam Doykin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibis Football Club. Adam Doykin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Peixoto in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute of the match Ibis Football Club got a corner. CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tadeu Félix ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tadeu Félix made a great header on Ibis Football Club's corner, it was just that CE LAJEADENSE RS's Adam Doykin managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Saad in the 43rd minute of play forced Ibis Football Club's goalkeeper Pedro Rosado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Rosado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caetano Saad went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Adam Doykin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eurico Peixoto's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. When Eurico Peixoto came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Ibis Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eurico Peixoto couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute, Ennio Fallito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eurico Peixoto might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adam Doykin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eurico Peixoto ran back to his position shaking his head. When Ibis Football Club's Eurico Peixoto in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalie prevented a goal. Eurico Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 84 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Peixoto came free, but Adam Doykin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
