Gameiro Thuret charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gameiro Thuret the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes Herblay got a freekick which was hit by Gameiro Thuret. After a rather tough play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Gilvan Moura got a free kick in the 6th minute. Adam Doykin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batiste Botella in the 10th minute of play. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Adam Doykin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batiste Botella in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Herblay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gameiro Thuret to maneuver through the defense. After 16 played minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS got a freekick which was hit by Jhon Arias. A hard shot 19 in the game by Joe Grosso from a close distance when the talented Adam Doykin managed to make a qualified save. CE LAJEADENSE RS's players were relieved. Adam Doykin made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Batiste Botella sent off a good shot on target. After 33 minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joe Grosso who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Joe Grosso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CE LAJEADENSE RS's Adam Doykin did a great save. If Gildo Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice moves Christophe Beaulieu could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Adam Doykin however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batiste Botella in the 45th minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Adam Doykin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nelsinho Teles charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nelsinho Teles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nelsinho Teles hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Adam Doykin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batiste Botella, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Rossi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Éthan Plantade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Batiste Botella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adam Doykin. CE LAJEADENSE RS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Batiste Botella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Rossi in the 64th minute of play forced Herblay's goalkeeper Gustave Héron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Batiste Botella notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of CE LAJEADENSE RS's Adam Doykin. Adam Doykin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Caetano Saad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Gustave Héron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christophe Beaulieu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Doykin having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Caetano Saad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustave Héron narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adam Doykin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joe Grosso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CE LAJEADENSE RS were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Herblay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Caetano Saad took the corner. Gildo Cearense made a great header on CE LAJEADENSE RS's corner, it was just that Herblay's Gustave Héron managed to reach the ball for a save. When the referee ended the match the Herblay players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
