Ique Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FFC Merainies 03 the free kick. A collision led to Ique Football Club getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Samuca Leal hit a great ball. Erben Medgyesi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Francisco Leme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moisés Arruda in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Heiko Som saved FFC Merainies 03 from getting behind. After 34 minutes, Merijan Bemmel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FFC Merainies 03 and the Ique Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aimar Aimar in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heiko Som prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the match, Aimar Aimar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Heiko Som. FFC Merainies 03's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aimar Aimar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moisés Arruda to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Aimar Aimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiko Som saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aimar Aimar in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Heiko Som saved FFC Merainies 03 from getting behind. In the 57th minute, Aimar Aimar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Heiko Som. The goal made the score 1-2. Ique Football Club's Roberto Souza was substituted for Hélder Bueno. After a rather tough play, Ique Football Club's Moisés Arruda got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Moisés Arruda succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 66th playminute. João Francisco Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael van Zeggeren in the 70th minute of play. After 75 played minutes FFC Merainies 03 got a freekick which was hit by Rafael van Zeggeren. FFC Merainies 03's Heiko Som played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Arruda in the 76th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, FFC Merainies 03's Rafael van Zeggeren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Francisco Leme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aimar Aimar got free with Heiko Som in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Heiko Som didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aimar Aimar went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The Ique Football Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ique Football Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
