The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. American Airlines's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CON-E-CO the free kick. In the 11th minute, Dominic Farrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilesindo Tarapiella in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dale Skinner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to CON-E-CO getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Servando Ariste hit a great ball. Bibiano Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexis Couch in the 14th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes CON-E-CO got a freekick which was hit by Diego Rosa. Bibiano Barbosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chandler Bing in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Gilesindo Tarapiella cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dale Skinner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the match, CON-E-CO's goalkeeper Bibiano Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonah Ryan. Dale Skinner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Servando Ariste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the American Airlines defense, Gilesindo Tarapiella kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dale Skinner. The American Airlines fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dale Skinner should have stopped the shot. Dale Skinner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Servando Ariste in the 41st minute of the match. After 42 played minutes American Airlines got a freekick which was hit by Andrew Ziegler. In the 46th minute, Gilesindo Tarapiella left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CON-E-CO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After the first half CON-E-CO were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Jay Pritchett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bibiano Barbosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. American Airlines's Dale Skinner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilesindo Tarapiella in the 58th minute of play. Frans Escajadillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Dale Skinner made a huge save. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by American Airlines's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Martinez Armesto was slow to take the kick. During this time CON-E-CO's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Gilesindo Tarapiella drilling the ball in to score 1-4 behind American Airlines's goalkeeper. In the 66th minute of the match, Gilesindo Tarapiella tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dale Skinner saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 68th minute Alexis Couch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bibiano Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, CON-E-CO's goal looked a bit too open when Jonah Ryan came free, but Bibiano Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When American Airlines's Jonah Ryan in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In a very dangerous position, a player in CON-E-CO fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Bibiano Barbosa had in the 82ndth minute some difficulties stopping Big Lebowski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Bibiano Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chandler Bing in the 84th minute of the match. Bibiano Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonah Ryan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Jay Pritchett sped through CON-E-CO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bibiano Barbosa. In the 94th minute, Chandler Bing made a precise shot to the right of Bibiano Barbosa. CON-E-CO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4.
