In the 15th match minute, CON-E-CO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Escajadillo to maneuver through the defense. CON-E-CO's Bibiano Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chico Valadares in the 17th minute of play. Delfim Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilesindo Tarapiella in the 24th minute of the match. Frans Escajadillo took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delfim Chaves. Delfim Chaves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Valadares in the 35th minute of play forced CON-E-CO's goalkeeper Bibiano Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Galo do Japi's Delfim Chaves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Galo do Japi from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the game, Galo do Japi's Chico Valadares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bibiano Barbosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 41 minutes into the match, CON-E-CO's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Valadares came free, but Bibiano Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by Ranko Toko. Delfim Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilesindo Tarapiella, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Chucky Norris's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Bibiano Barbosa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The CON-E-CO supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Galo do Japi's performance. The match ended with a win for Galo do Japi.
