C.'s goal looked a bit too open when 傅凌岚 came free, but Christiano Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Rossi made a great header on SORRISO E. C.'s corner, it was just that AEK FC's Kenneth Knudsen managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars-Erik Angvik during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, AEK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars-Erik Angvik to maneuver through the defense. C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. SORRISO E. C.'s Christiano Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Fredriksson in the 31st minute of play. Kenneth Knudsen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Diguinho Gaúcho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 33 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Fredriksson in the 36th minute of play forced SORRISO E. C.'s goalkeeper Christiano Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doni Velloso kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Christian Dørum kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. SORRISO E. C.'s David Rossi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AEK FC. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
A collision led to AEK FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Carlinhos Trancoso hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Carlinhos Trancoso in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SORRISO E. C.'s Natã Paraense. Kenneth Knudsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diguinho Gaúcho in the 65th minute of play. Christiano Arce made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Steve Triganza sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th minute, 傅凌岚 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kenneth Knudsen came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by SORRISO E. C.'s Diguinho Gaúcho. But to his dismay, Diguinho Gaúcho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to SORRISO E. C. getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Diguinho Gaúcho hit a great ball. In the 79th minute Diguinho Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Knudsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steve Triganza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Christiano Arce made a huge save. SORRISO E. C.'s Christiano Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 傅凌岚 in the 84th minute of play. Alf Fredriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christiano Arce having to interfere. The supporters of AEK FC booed when SORRISO E. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natã Paraense didn't get a good kick on the ball. SORRISO E. C.'s Christiano Arce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save SORRISO E. C. from getting a goal against them. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. SORRISO E. C. were victorious despite being under pressure from AEK FC for much of the match.
