Spectators: 8468 (Terracing: 6352, Seating: 1947, VIP seats: 169) Gilian Ramps started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game was made by Simon de la Croix with Thiago van Beek as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jonatan Aspvik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Van Dyck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Erik Enström in the 7th minute of play forced Beek City's goalkeeper Gabriel Van Dyck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Beek City's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Aspvik came free, but Gabriel Van Dyck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beek City's Gabriel Van Dyck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Norberg in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Jonatan Aspvik made a precise shot to the right of Gabriel Van Dyck. Beek City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Jonatan Aspvik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bryan Marant in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olov Ahlquist saved Glentown FC from getting behind. In the 20th minute, Bo Norberg made a precise shot to the right of Gabriel Van Dyck. Beek City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Glentown FC's Olov Ahlquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joery Cortens in the 24th minute of play. Olov Ahlquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilian Ramps, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Jonatan Aspvik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Van Dyck was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 36th minute Bo Norberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Van Dyck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Raf Feys dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Olov Ahlquist, 1-3. With a little luck, Glentown FC's Olov Ahlquist got control of the ball when Bryan Marant tried to sneak it across the goal line. Glentown FC's Matthias Classon managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Simon de la Croix in the 43 minute of the game. 45 minutes into the match, Glentown FC's goalkeeper Olov Ahlquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilian Ramps. After 47 minutes, Bo Norberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glentown FC and the Beek City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 48th match minute, Glentown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Norberg to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Glentown FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonatan Aspvik made a kick off. Gilian Ramps received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Olov Ahlquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raf Feys's late challenge caught a Glentown FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raf Feys helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Beek City's Raf Feys got a free kick in the 56th minute. After some careless play in the Glentown FC defense, Raf Feys kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olov Ahlquist. The Glentown FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olov Ahlquist should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd minute Jonatan Aspvik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Van Dyck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilian Ramps fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Ahlquist having to interfere. Glentown FC made a substitution. Nils Dalman replaced Otto Stenqvist. Ralf Fransson kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The supporters of Glentown FC booed when Beek City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Leempoels didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Glentown FC's Jesper Cane got a free kick in the 88th minute. A collision led to Glentown FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Matthias Classon hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Jesper Cane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glentown FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesper Cane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Van Dyck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
